I think you have to read up on things a bit.
Your piercings have certainly not healed. No matter how quick your other piercings did. Nipple piercings are slow healers, and it can take up to a year for some people. The general advice is not to change jewelry the first six months. If you want to get them changed earlier let your piercer do that - it sounds like you did it yourself. Try and get good quality, internally threaded jewelry.
Don’t move them around too much either. The basic guideline is LTTHA: Leave Them The Hell Alone. And let your body do the work.
The oozing sounds normal, because they are still healing. and it might not have anything to do with how you fidget around with them. It’s most probably lymph, a white fluid from the skin with some dead body cells in it. This is a normal by-product of the healing process. Clean your piercings with salt soaks.
Sit down, grab a cup of tea, and read the faq:And especially:
- Nipple Piercing Aftercare
- Safe Piercing: the wound healing process <- very informative!
- Everything you need to know about saline soaks
So don’t get nervous, but take it easy, and follow the aftercare guidelines. Again: they have not healed yet. In case you see any signs of inflammation drop by your piercer. Good luck!
Keep an eye on it, had my nipple pierced and it was 6 months when I had the “ooze”. I was worried about it because it started to get tender, I ended up having an infection that required surgery. Infection moved down to my ribs and after all was said and done I now have a a dented chest from all the muscle and tissue that was removed. Like the above said, don’t play with it to much, over cleaning is more then likely what caused my problems! Wish I still had mine, but now I can just look at others! Good luck!!
